Making Christ Visible in Bengeworthstained-glass-eof

Our church serves a large and growing part of Evesham east of the River Avon. St. Peter’s occupies a prominent position at the eastern end of Port Street, where the spire stands proudly visible from a wide area. The main part of the church building provides a large, versatile and child-friendly space. It has a good lighting system, comfortable, moveable, chairs, and an audio-visual link to an adjacent quiet room, which is also used for choir practice and meetings. There is also a baptistry area and a Lady Chapel, used for weekday services and private prayer. We have a well-equipped kitchen and toilet facilities.

We are concerned about the safety and well-being of everyone at St. Peter’s and encourage anyone who is concerned about how they, or anyone else, is being treated to contact our Safeguarding Officer: Heather Uncles 01386 48936, or Diocesan Safeguarding Officer 07495060869. You can also email safeguarding@bengeworthchurch.co.uy.  You will find a list of contacts on the large board at the back of church.

For details of regular services and special events see the calendar. There are various church groups, which are listed under Church Activities. Our monthly Parish Magazine is St. Peter’s Key; you can pick up a copy in church.

Our parish is home to two Church of England foundation schools: Bengeworth Academy and St. Richard’s First School and also to other schools.

The church is a popular venue for weddings and baptisms.
