St Peter’s Church is not open at present, because of the Coronavirus outbreak. The Archbishops and Bishops of the Church of England have urged everyone to follow the instructions given to limit the transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We will let you know when the church is open for private prayer and when service can be held again.

Funerals at the graveside or in crematoriums with take place in line with the Government’s instructions. Funeral Directors and our own Benefice Office can give you the latest information if this affects you. If you are over 70 or in the NHS Vulnerable category it may not be possible to attend. Numbers should be limited to immediate family only.
If you are unable to attend a funeral of a friend or loved one you might like to use this simple service at home:
