On Saturday 25th of November, at 2.00 pm a full church of visitors enjoyed a Christmas Celebration concert with the South West Fellowship Band from The Salvation Army and the Evesham Joint Churches Choir.
St. Peter’s rang with music with the wide range of pieces being enjoyed by all.
The concert was in aid of Caring Hands and raised £1280 to support the work of the charity.
Harvest 2017 began on Thursday 28th September, with Bengeworth Academy holding their Harvest service; it continued on Friday 29th September with St. Richard’s C of E First School holding their service. By Sunday 1st October the church was full of flowers and produce.
The day began with an outdoor service and refreshments before welcoming visitors to the fayre. The church looked wonderful with people there to offer a welcome, give out treasure hunt sheets, issue prizes, talk about the church, judge the art competition and serve gallons of tea and coffee. What a wonderful and tiring day!
On Wednesday 21st June a group of family, friends and music fans gathered to listen to the finalists of Evesham Young Musician of the year.
All the competitors had won a category and, in the end a young vocalist and a clarinetist won the junior and senior award.
The Avon Singers provided the opening, pre-interval and final musical entertainment of the evening.
On Sunday 2nd July St. Peter’s will be part of the Port Street International Fayre. You will see this poster, prepared by members of Ourside, handing on the wall outside the church. It looks wonderful and shows what will be happening on that day.
